For Problem #5 on homework #2; I am guessing we somehow should relate the the friction force into the viscous dampening force but I am not sure how we do that. I do not think we covered it in class yet and wanted to bring it up.

I was thinking something along the lines of:
2) *x/(dt)
2 )+ (b + friction coeffecient)*(dx/dt )+ k*x = 0
